Hope Cottage is set over 2 floors and comprises lounge with feature fireplace, dining room table with 6 chairs, fully equipped kitchen, separate utility room downstairs and 3 bedrooms (1 x double, 1 x twin, 1 x single), bathroom with bath and separate electric shower upstairs. There is an enclosed garden to the rear and small garden area to the front to enjoy come the summer months.  A garage which can be available for guests use upon request is ideal for storing bikes, watersports equipment or golf clubs.


The cottage is located in a quiet residential street within the seaside town of Portrush, offering a great base from which to explore this stunning coast. Within walking distance of the beautiful beaches, championship golf course, award winning restaurants and lots more, you'll not be short of things to do - and that's without leaving the town! Plus, two of the top Northern Ireland tourist attractions; The Giant's Causeway and Old Bushmills Distillery are within 15 - 20 minutes drive.

My husband and I have stayed at Hope Cottage on several occasions and love it. It has a nice mix of home comforts and welcoming touches. It offers us the best of both worlds being only 10 minutes walk into the town centre, beaches or golf clubs, yet is in a quiet residential street away from the noise of the town centre. Can't recommend enough.

“Lovely stay in lively Portrush”

Good, comfortable, clean, tidy accommodation, walking distance from the centre of bustling Portrush, with it's delights of 'Barry's' amusements and 'Ramore's' restaurants. Lovely home-made chocolate cake, along with tea, coffee & milk on arrival was a nice, welcome touch.

"Great family accommodation on the edge of town”

We've stayed at Hope Cottage a few times and really find it meets our needs well. Being on the edge of town it's quiet yet close enough to everything at the same time. It also has private off-street parking and garden which are a bonus. Walking into town or the beaches or golf course only takes 10 - 15 minutes so nothing is too far away. Each time we've been the owner has made new updates to the house so we've always found it to be well maintained and very clean. The kitchen isn't huge but has everything we need. Equally we try to get out and enjoy the local restaurants and Portrush hospitality anyway. Would not hesitate to recommend it and look forward to our next visit.

Booking Terms 25% deposit is required to secure the dates with the balance due 8 weeks prior to arrival. Where a booking is made within 8 weeks of arrival then full payment will be required at the time of booking. We accept most forms of payment including bank transfer; all major credit cards and UK issued debit cards. Rental is inclusive of linen and towels, as well as utilities (gas and electricity) unless otherwise stated on the individual property adverts. Fair usage policy applies. All breakages are chargeable. Click Book Stay have the right to charge a fully refundable security deposit.

Cancellation Policy - Once a booking deposit has been paid and the booking confirmed in writing, the Tenant is liable for the whole amount of the rent for the period booked.  Any cancellations must be made in writing and acknowledged by us. 

In the event of a cancellation, the following charges will apply:

  • If notice of cancellation is given more than 8 weeks before your arrival date, 25% of the total tariff is non-refundable
  • If notice of cancellation is given with less than 8 weeks of your arrival date, the full amount is payable.

 Holiday / Cancellation Insurance. Once booked, the Tenant is liable for the complete Property rental costs. As such, it is strongly recommended that the Tenant take out suitable holiday / cancellation insurance to cover costs incurred by unexpected holiday cancellation.  Booking Protect, which is a cancellation policy, is offered as an option at the time of booking via the TS Holiday Lets website.  Booking Protect is an independent company and not in any way related to TS Holiday Lets.
